Jaisalmer, the gem city of Rajasthan state is also known as 'The Golden City', as it is located in the semi desert land of golden sand. The name of the city is after the name of the king ''Rao Jaisal Yadav'', who found the city. It is the largest district of Rajasthan and one of the largest district of India. The beautiful range of Aravali adds several moons to the beauty of this magnificent city. A number of historical monuments, forts and temples are scattered all around the city, but the Jaisalmer Fort shines like a diamond amongst them all.
