Travel Algarve

Located in the Southern regions of Portugal the Algarve is an increasingly popular tourist destination for all sorts of travellers. The reason for this being largely down to the fact that the Coastal region has gorgeous weather during the summer months which is accompanied by golden sands, beautiful scenery and friendly locals.

The Algarve and in particular the regions capital, Faro, is visited more and more each year as travellers become further aware of the beautiful region and holiday packages become cheaper meaning a vacation to the Portuguese region becomes more affordable for party goers and families alike. Whether visitors are party goers, families or culture vultures it doesn't matter as the Algarve has something for all types of travellers. For tourists looking for good nightlife there are a number of quality bars, restaurants and clubs throughout the region with the city of Albufeira boasting some of the most vibrant nightlife around.

For travellers that are looking to learn more about the history and culture of the Algarve as opposed to what drinks are on offer, a trip to the capital, Faro, may be of more interest.

The 'old' town of the area has much history embedded in it with a number of museums, cathedrals and historical points of interest all available for tourists to visit and learn more about the Algarve and its past. The area also has a lot to accommodate families of all sizes, although if travelling with children chilling out down by the beach may be the easiest option and why not with a number of beautiful, golden beaches to choose from with many having various water sports, activities and bars located around them.
